A Great Blog Post On Obama By Entrepreneur Marc Andreessen

http://blog.pmarca.com/2008/03/an-hour-and-a-h.html An hour and a half with Barack Obama Mar 3, 2008 I've tried very hard to keep politics out of this blog -- despite nearly overpowering impulses to the contrary -- for two reasons: one, there's no reason to alienate people who don't share my political views, as wrong-headed as those people may clearly be; two, there's no reason to expect my opinion on political issues should be any more valid than any other reader of what, these days, passes… Continue

Ning on ObamaCycle

http://blog.ning.com/2008/02/obamacycle_recycling_campaign.html Our driving goal with Ning is to provide software that enables people the freedom to create. Here at Ning HQ, we love seeing new social networks on Ning pop up that we would have never thought of on our own. Happily, this happens a lot. Featured yesterday in Wired as "A Craigslist for Obama Campaigners", Obamacycle.com was created by Fur… Continue

Wired Magazine on ObamaCycle

http://www.wired.com/politics/law/news/2008/02/obamacycle Some great success stories mentioned in this article! Here's the text of the article: After deciding to commit a significant chunk of his time to volunteer for Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign just outside Cleveland in early February, Rich VanOverberg faced a low-tech dilemma. He couldn't get timely access to any campaign paraphernalia that would help him spread his candidate's brand. "The Ohio primary was coming up, and I kne… Continue

Way to ObamaCycle!

Wow, it's only been 10 days, but what an amazing reception for this site. In this short period, there have been over 75,000 visitors to the site, almost 700 members and hundreds of "matches." As expected, there are way more "need it" posts than "have it" posts. With March 4th quickly approaching, let's redouble our efforts to ObamaCycle as much as we can! BTW, there was a great TV story on an O… Continue

Don't throw it away...OBAMACYCLE!

I was reading the Obama campaign blog today and there was a post on "donate money now" that had several thousand comments. I was scanning through the comments and noticed a lot of back and forth along the lines of, "we need some campaign posters in Louisiana." So I decided to set up a discussion forum hosted on Ning. If you click on the "forum" button, you'll see a list of the states yet to vote in the primary. If you need stuff, post it in your state. Also, if you have stuff and don't mind s
