Hello All, Apparently, the Billionaire Mr Murdocks' daughter is planning a fundrising for Obama in Nottinghill London!! Is it a ploy by the billionaire or is the fundrising genuine? Any comments.

Hi David,

Nice to hear a voice from across the pond!

In my view, the campaign is going very well. I'm part of a group that's been making day trips (and some overnights) to PA. We were registering voters prior to the 3/24 deadline, and now many of us are canvassing and so forth. I'm hoping to get myself to a rally sometime so I can hear Obama speak in person.

With the Rev. Wright controversy mostly behind us, I see a bright future ahead! I'm encouraged by what I see as an awakening in this country, made possible in great part by the internet and alternative news media.

Thanks for keeping in touch!

You are welcome. We are all in this. I happen to have some Irish friends who are just as mad about Obama as Americans, Africans and most Europeans. We have our Obama pins, stickers and t-shirts. There are many British Parliamentarians, civil servants, intellectuals etc who wear Obama t-shirts when they go to the gym or even socialising in bars, cafe, etc. So the word is psreading like fire. Oh and I should not forget my Japanese friend called MObama. He is chamging his name to Obama. Fantastic.

I'm so happy to see support for Senator Obama from all over the world. You are so important to this movement. I love your positive, encouraging attitude! Thank you so much!

Sorry guys for not replying sooner. I have been traveling in the far east for work. But i have one message for all of us: Be cheerful and greatful. Obama has not been around as long as the Clintons but the movement has done so well. Obama will win this nomination and the white house. the world loves him and sees him as the saviour for America. Obama still has more delegates and popular general vote. So let us get busy. Phone, organise, reach out to those States ahead. PA and others need us. We will win.

Hi David!
What are people saying over there? I can't imagine what they're thinking given their preconceptions (and sometimes misconceptions) about Americans. From what I've read, I know some think or primary system is wild and crazy. Are there Obama buttons, stickers, etc. available there?

Welcome to www.obamacycle.com!

Here are a few tips to get you started:

1. Avoid giving out personal info in the forums; ask that people contact you through Ning mail (look at the upper left corner of your screen; this is your mailbox!).

2. If you post a discussion stating that you need things, please post it only ONCE. We do not need ten discussions floating around for the same person with the same needs.

3. If you have a donation, please browse through our threads and check around for people who need things (we have threads by item and by state; check both!) before you start your own discussion stating that you have things. This is only to combat those who may have already gotten a donation but want more (we believe that we should get everyone a donation before we start shelling out seconds).

4. If you are matched with someone for a donation, please close your discussion. You don't have to delete it, however, we ask that you stop taking replies so that those with donations can be matched with people who haven't been matched for anything.

5. If you have a successful matchup, please write a review on us! Go to the home page and scroll to Furqan's blog. You'll see a post asking for reviews.

6. Please spread the word about Obamacycle! Post about us in the Obama HQ blog and on your friends' blogs, as well as on your group blogs. E-mail your friends and invite them here. Put one of our widgets on your myspace.

Thank you for Obamacycling! I hope that we can help!

Hi David,

I traveled to the UK last Fall and realized through conversations with people from different countries that we, as Americans, have lost the respect of citizens from around the world--and it's all about our leadership. Obama is the one who can help restore this nation to a position of greatness. Thank you for sharing the excitement from across the seas!
